To strengthen our team at our Karlsruhe office location, we are looking for a full‑time (40 hours/week), permanent Drilling & Well QAQC Supervisor (m/f/d).

Your mission

Coordinate QAQC activities closely with the QAQC Lead and provide clear, timely feedback across rig, drilling, completion, and intervention operations
Demonstrate visible leadership in quality management and foster a strong QAQC culture among all service providers
Ensure Service Quality Plans (SQPs) are implemented in line with contractual requirements
Plan and coordinate service inspections at contractor sites based on SQPs, in alignment with the contractor
Ensure all equipment is properly prepared and supported by valid certifications and records
Establish a D&W QAQC release process before rig mobilization to confirm equipment readiness, including a final release note
Maintain and update the inspection reporting system with inspection reports, release notes, and relevant technical or proprietary information
Issue non-conformance and technical incident reports for products or services when required
Support and provide expertise in investigations of service or equipment failures

Your profile

At least 10 years of QAQC experience in drilling activities
Adequate knowledge of general drilling and completions, including welltesting and interventions equipment
Good knowledge of rig operations
Lead Auditor certification in ISO9001/APIQ1
Practitioner certification for APIQ2
Sound knowledge of DS1, NS2 and API standards relevant to contractor equipment
Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
Strong analytical skills, organizational ability, and communication skills
Valid authorization to work in Germany
Willingness to travel (EU, UK, Norway)
Passion for innovative technologies and sustainable energy projects
Initiative, team spirit, and the motivation to take responsibility and actively help shape the energy transition

About us

Vulcan Energy (ASX: VUL, FSE: VUL) is developing an integrated lithium and geothermal renewable energy business in Europe, aiming to support the decarbonisation of European battery supply chains.
Located in the Upper Rhine Valley Brine Field between Germany and France, Vulcan’s first phase of production, Project Lionheart (Lionheart), is designed to support the development of a local European battery materials supply chain and European energy security through the production of geothermal renewable energy.
Lithium is to be extracted from geothermal sub-surface brines using Vulcan’s proprietary VULSORB® lithium extraction technology. Naturally heated, the brine is designed to power production and conversion of lithium to battery-quality material by creating a renewable energy co-product for use in operations, with surplus intended to be sold into the local energy market.
