We are looking for you to join our growing team in Karlsruhe as a full-time (40 hours per week) as - (Senior) Reservoir Engineer (m/f/d).

Your mission

  • You design, execute, and evaluate dynamic data acquisition programs (e.g.well tests, PLTs, interference tests), including rigsite on-call duties, and analyze pressure, temperature, rate, and production data across all development phases.
  • You build, maintain, and validate integrated dynamic reservoir simulation models based on static geomodels, ensuring geological consistency and providing continuous feedback to geoscience teams.
  • You perform history matching, predictive forecasting, and scenario modeling to support robust decision-making and long-term field development strategies.
  • You support well delivery through pore pressure prediction, dynamic data analysis, and close collaboration with drilling and well engineering teams.
  • You lead or contribute to integrated field development planning studies, evaluating well concepts, development phasing, injector–producer strategies, facility constraints, and reserves booking implications.
  • You assess development options against technical, economic, and subsurface risk criteria in close collaboration with geoscientists, facilities engineers, and production technologists.
  • You ensure high-quality, well-structured data management (Petrel lifecycle) and maintain data integrity across well, seismic, and reservoir modeling datasets.

Your profile

  • You hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • You bring ideally 10+years of professional experience in reservoir engineering roles across different development phases.
  • You work confidently with industry-standard software such as Petrel/INTERSECT, tNavigator, Kappa Saphir, the PETEX suite, and PVTsim.
  • You demonstrate a can-do attitude and team-player mindset, prioritizing team and company goals over personal goals.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively, working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
  • You demonstrate a high level of motivation, personal ownership, and a structured, reliable way of working.
  • You are able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
