We are looking for you to join our engineering department as a Senior Engineering Manager (m/f/d) with 40 hours per week, permanent position at our location in Karlsruhe.
Your mission
  • you provide leadership to owner’s engineering team, optimize supervision efforts at different locations, including involvement of site and home office support
  • you are responsible to ensure a plant design in compliance with the relevant EHS and ESG requirements 
  • you are responsible to control and ensure project engineering progress 
  • you support the authority / permit engineering activities
  • you are supporting the Project Manager in change order handling/claims 
  • you coordinate the completion of technical documentation, technical queries and ensure adequate resolution of these and assembly of final documentation
Your profile
  • you have a substantial experience in engineering within chemical and energy related sectors
  • you have a demonstrated experience in managing and developing engineering teams / individuals
  • you have a solid understanding of project engineering workflows (from concept to execution and handover) in all engineering disciplines
  • you have good communication skills and English language skills
  • you have a high cross-cultural competence and ability to work in international teams
