Vulcan Energie Ressourcen ist ein deutsch-australisches Energie- und Rohstoffunternehmen und Vorreiter in der nachhaltigen Produktion von Lithium im Oberrheingraben. Unser Ziel: eine nachhaltige Batterie-Wertschöpfungskette für Europa – durch die Kombination von tiefer Geothermie und Lithiumgewinnung mit einem klimaneutralen Ansatz.

Im Rahmen unseres dynamischen Wachstums in Europa suchen wir dich als Leiter Kommunikation Europa (m/w/d) in Vollzeit (40 Stunden) an unserem Standort in Karlsruhe. You will lead our European communications team both strategically and operationally, overseeing the development, coordination, and execution of a cohesive media and communications strategy across all markets.

Das erwartet Dich bei uns
  • Du baust Medienkontakte in Deutschland und Europa auf und sorgst für positive Berichterstattung.
  • Du bist zentrale Anlaufstelle für Presseanfragen, koordinierst Interviews und entwickelst passende Statements.
  • Du erkennst relevante Themen und platzierst Vulcan wirkungsvoll im öffentlichen Diskurs.
  • Du verantwortest Kommunikationsinhalte für regulatorisches Reporting (FSE) und unterstützt bei ASX-Meldungen.
  • Du gestaltest Inhalte für Social Media, Website und unsere Präsenz in digitalen Kanälen in Deutschland.
  • Du begleitest Branchenveranstaltungen kommunikativ und sorgst für konsistente Botschaften nach außen.
Das solltest Du mitbringen
  • Du hast mehr als 10 Jahre Erfahrung in Medienarbeit, Unternehmenskommunikation oder Public Affairs.
  • Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Kommunikation, Marketing oder Medien.
  • Du bringst Erfahrung in der Führung von Teams und in der Leitung von Kommunikationsprojekten mit.
  • Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und sehr gutes Englisch; weitere Sprachen sind willkommen.
  • Du kannst komplexe Inhalte klar, präzise und zielgruppengerecht formulieren.
  • Du bringst Erfahrung mit Medienarbeit sowie mit regulatorischer Kommunikation mit.
  • Du arbeitest strukturiert, bleibst unter Druck souverän und kommunizierst sicher mit Führungskräften.

Vulcan Energie Ressourcen is a German-Australian energy and resource company pioneering sustainable lithium production in the Upper Rhine Valley. Our goal is to enable a sustainable battery supply chain for Europe by combining deep geothermal energy with lithium extraction – all with a net zero carbon footprint.

As part of our dynamic growth across Europe, we’re looking for you to join us as Communications Lead Europe(m/f/d) in a full-time position (40 hours per week) at our Karlsruhe office. In this role, you will strategically shape our public communications, lead a team, and develop our communications strategy. You will play a key part in sharing our vision of a climate-neutral energy future with the world.
Your mission
  • You develop strong media relationships in Germany and Europe and secure positive, high-impact coverage.
  • You are the go-to person for media inquiries, coordinating interviews and preparing talking points.
  • You spot opportunities in the news cycle and help shape how Vulcan is seen and understood.
  • You lead communication support for regulatory reporting (FSE) and assist with ASX announcements and reports.
  • You drive communications across digital channels, including social media and web content for the German market.
  • You support our presence at events and build our voice through consistent, strategic messaging.
Your profile
  • You have more than 10 years of experience in media relations, corporate communications, or public affairs.
  • You hold a degree in communications, marketing, or media.
  • You have experience in leading teams and managing communication projects.
  • You are fluent in German and have a very good command of English; additional languages are welcome.
  • You can communicate complex content clearly, precisely, and appropriately for the target audience.
  • You have experience in media relations as well as in regulatory communication.
  • You work in a structured manner, remain confident under pressure, and communicate effectively with senior management.
