Für den Aufbau unserer CO2-neutralen Lithiumgewinnungs- und Elektrolyseanlagen im Oberrheintal in Deutschland suchen wir einen erfahrenen MBSE Systems Engineer (m/w/d)/ System Architect in Karlsruhe. In dieser unbefristeten Vollzeitstelle (40 Stunden) wirst du eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Definition, Integration und Validierung unserer innovativen Systeme mithilfe von Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) und Capella spielen.

Das erwartet Dich bei uns

Du entwickelst und steuerst die Systemdefinitionsstrategie mithilfe von Capella, um klare, umfassende und konsistente Systemmodelle zu erstellen, die den Projektanforderungen und den Erwartungen der Stakeholder entsprechen.
Du überwachst die Integration verschiedener Systemkomponenten unter Einsatz von MBSE-Praktiken und stellst sicher, dass alle Schnittstellen und Datenflüsse klar definiert und nahtlos integriert sind.
Du validierst kontinuierlich die Systementwürfe und -architekturen unter Verwendung von MBSE-Tools, um sicherzustellen, dass sie den Anforderungen des Projekts und der Stakeholder sowie den besten Branchenpraktiken entsprechen.
Du interagierst mit den Stakeholdern, um Anforderungen zu erfassen und diese in den Systemmodellen zu reflektieren, wodurch eine klare Kommunikation und Abstimmung sichergestellt wird.
Du identifizierst Risiken im Zusammenhang mit der Systemintegration und dem Datenmanagement und ergreifst MBSE-gestützte Maßnahmen zur Risikominderung.
Du erstellst und pflegst umfassende Dokumentationen zu MBSE-Entscheidungen, Validierungsprozessen und Stakeholder-Anforderungen unter Verwendung von Capella.

Das solltest Du mitbringen

Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Informationssystemen, Ingenieurwesen oder einem verwandten Bereich (Bachelor oder Master).
Du bringst fundiertes Verständnis von MBSE-Prinzipien, -Tools und -Frameworks (z. B. SysML) mit und hast Erfahrung mit Capella für Systemdefinition, -integration und -validierung sowie Kenntnisse im Asset Information Management und Digital Twin-Technologien.
Du besitzt ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und kannst sowohl mit technischen Teams als auch mit dem Senior Management effektiv kommunizieren.
Du verfügst über Kenntnisse in MBSE, insbesondere in der Nutzung von Capella oder ähnlichen Modellierungswerkzeugen. Vertrautheit mit Praktiken des Asset Information Managements und der Digital Twin-Technologie ist von Vorteil. Erfahrung im Umgang mit relevanten IT-Tools und Software ist ebenfalls wünschenswert.
Du bist bereit, gelegentlich zu Projektstandorten und Stakeholder-Meetings zu reisen.
Du sprichst fließend Englisch in Wort und Schrift; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.

To support the development of our CO2-neutral lithium extraction and electrolysis plants in the Upper Rhine Valley, Germany, we are looking for an experienced MBSE Systems Engineer (m/f/d)/ System Architect based in Karlsruhe. In this permanent full-time position (40 hours per week), you will play a key role in defining, integrating, and validating our innovative systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Capella.

Your mission

You develop and manage the system definition strategy using Capella to create clear, comprehensive, and consistent system models that meet project requirements and stakeholder expectations.
You oversee the integration of various system components using MBSE practices, ensuring that all interfaces and data flows are clearly defined and seamlessly integrated.
You continuously validate system designs and architectures using MBSE tools to ensure they meet project and stakeholder requirements, as well as industry best practices.
You engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and reflect them in the system models, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
You identify risks related to system integration and data management and take MBSE-based actions to mitigate these risks.
You create and maintain comprehensive documentation of MBSE decisions, validation processes, and stakeholder requirements using Capella.

Your profile

You have a degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's).
You have a solid understanding of MBSE principles, tools, and frameworks (e.g., SysML), and experience with Capella for system definition, integration, and validation, as well as knowledge of asset information management and digital twin technologies.
You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively engage with both technical teams and senior management.
You have knowledge of MBSE, particularly in using Capella or similar modeling tools. Familiarity with asset information management practices and digital twin technology is an advantage. Experience with relevant IT tools and software is also desirable.
You are willing to occasionally travel to project sites and attend stakeholder meetings.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in German is an advantage.
