For our Lithium Extraction Team in Landau we are looking for you in full time (40h) and in permanent employment, as Senior Process Engineer (m/f/d) Lithium Operations.

Your mission

You are responsible for defining R&D topics, conducting bibliographic surveys, setting test objectives, determining necessary tools and resources, and collaborating with teams for planning purposes.
You take care of designing and constructing experimental setups, ranging from laboratory scale to pilot tests, and developing operating procedures for equipment.
Your role includes providing support during the commissioning and operation phases of optimization plants.
You perform heat, water, and mass balance analyses on various stages of the lithium extraction process to aid in engineering optimization and commercial plant design.
You propose improvements and optimizations for different steps of the lithium extraction process.
You are tasked with collecting, analyzing, and delivering high-quality reports and presentations based on gathered data.

Your profile

You have successfully completed a degree in process engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a comparable field of study.
You are experienced in developing and operating hydrometallurgical processes, engineering and commissioning hydrometallurgical plants or units.
Experience with lithium extraction processes (DLE processes, conversion of LiCl to LiOH) is a plus.
You enjoy teamwork and sharing your knowledge/experience.
You have an analytical way of thinking and a willingness to constantly learn about new topics.

Für unser Lithium-Extraktionsteam in Landau suchen wir dich in Vollzeit (40 Stunden) und unbefristet als Senior Prozessingenieur (m/w/d) Lithiumextraktion.

Das erwartet Dich bei uns

Du bist verantwortlich für die Definition von R&D-Themen, die Durchführung bibliografischer Umfragen, das Festlegen von Testzielen, die Bestimmung der erforderlichen Werkzeuge und Ressourcen sowie die Zusammenarbeit mit Teams zu Planungszwecken.
Du kümmerst dich um das Design und den Bau experimenteller Aufbauten, die von Laborversuchen bis hin zu Pilotversuchen reichen, und entwickelst Betriebsverfahren für Geräte.
Deine Rolle umfasst die Unterstützung während der Inbetriebnahme- und Betriebsphasen von Optimierungsanlagen.
Du führst Wärme-, Wasser- und Massenbilanzanalysen in verschiedenen Stadien des Lithiumextraktionsprozesses durch, um bei der technischen Optimierung und dem kommerziellen Anlagendesign zu helfen.
Du schlägst Verbesserungen und Optimierungen für verschiedene Schritte des Lithiumextraktionsprozesses vor.
Du bist damit beauftragt, hochwertige Berichte und Präsentationen basierend auf gesammelten Daten zu sammeln, zu analysieren und zu liefern.

Das solltest Du mitbringen

Du hast erfolgreich einen Abschluss in Verfahrenstechnik, Chemie, Chemietechnik oder einem vergleichbaren Studienbereich absolviert.
Du verfügst über Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und dem Betrieb hydrometallurgischer Prozesse sowie in der Planung und Inbetriebnahme hydrometallurgischer Anlagen oder Einheiten.
Erfahrung mit Lithiumextraktionsprozessen (DLE-Prozesse, Umwandlung von LiCl in LiOH) ist von Vorteil.
Du schätzt Teamarbeit und den Austausch von Wissen und Erfahrung.
Du hast ein analytisches Denkvermögen und bist bereit, kontinuierlich Neues zu lernen.
