As Downstream Project Controls Manager (m/f/d) you become part of the Project Management Office Team in Karlsruhe.

Your mission

You work with the rest of the Project Management Service group in planning, coordinating and executing day-to-day operations and governance including interface and stakeholder management to other teams.
You are in charge of designing and executing appropriate execution strategies for different downstream projects under the integrated projects umbrella.
On a frequent basis you define how to improve, optimise and recover individual or integrated project schedules, cost estimates and reporting for Vulcan group.
You are responsible for all change management/ risk management in downstream projects and you support the development and roll out all project controlling standards and procedures for project execution functions.
Furthermore you develop governance models and delegation of authority suited for a lean, agile and fast moving company.

Your profile

You have already worked in similar positions in the field of plant or power plant construction (ideally in the construction of chemical plants, oil & gas industry, mining, renewable energy or comparable) and have at least 5 years of experience in project execution and project controls.
You are an experienced leader who develops the strategic foundations and project execution standards for your team and ensures that the team members can deliver their top performance.
You are a professional in the areas of change management or risk management of downstream projects.
Your expertise covers the fields of project scheduling, project controlling, document controlling and project management of downstream projects.

Als Downstream Project Control Manager (m/w/d) erweiterst du unser Project Management Office Team in Karlsruhe.

Das erwartet Dich bei uns

Du arbeitest mit dem Rest der Project Management Services-Gruppe bei der Planung, Koordination und Durchführung des Tagesgeschäfts und der Governance zusammen, einschließlich des Schnittstellen- und Stakeholder-Managements zu anderen Teams.
Du bist verantwortlich für die Entwicklung und Umsetzung geeigneter Ausführungsstrategien für verschiedene vorgelagerte Projekte im Rahmen des Gesamtprojekts.
Du überprüfst regelmäßig einzelne oder integrierte Projektzeitpläne, Kostenschätzungen und Berichte für die Vulcan-Gruppe auf ihre Richtigkeit und optimierst sie.
Du bist für das gesamte Änderungs- und Risikomanagement in den Downstream-Projekten verantwortlich und unterstützt die Entwicklung und Einführung aller Projektcontrolling-Standards und -Verfahren für die effiziente Projektdurchführung.
Darüber hinaus entwickelst du in deinem Bereich Governance-Strukturen, die ein schlankes, agiles und sich schnell entwickelndes Unternehmen benötigt.

Das solltest Du mitbringen

Du hast bereits in vergleichbarer Position im Anlagen- oder Kraftwerksbau gearbeitet (idealerweise im Bau von Chemieanlagen, Öl- & Gasindustrie, Bergbau, erneuerbare Energien oder vergleichbar) und verfügst über mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Projektabwicklung und Projektsteuerung.
Du bist eine erfahrene Führungspersönlichkeit, die die strategische Grundlagen und Projektabwicklungsstandards implementiert und dafür sorgt, dass die Teammitglieder optimal agieren können.
Du bist ein Profi in Sachen Veränderungsmanagement und/oder Risikomanagement von Downstream-Projekten.
Deine Expertise umfasst die Bereiche Projektplanung, Projektcontrolling, Dokumentencontrolling und Projektmanagement von Downstream-Projekten.
