To support our growing reservoir development team at Karlsruhe, Germany we are looking for a Senior Development Geophysicist (m/w/d), or similar to fill a full-time position (40h), unlimited contract. 

Your mission

• You will conduct independently 2D and 3D seismic interpretations of onshore data, mostly but not exclusively on field scale. 
• You will validate seismic interpretations by the means of structural geologic validation techniques and integrate those into regional geodynamic frameworks. 
• You will calibrate seismic data based on checkshot, VSP, and/or acoustic logging data. 
• You will design and execute seismic attribute studies.
• You will build 3D velocity models based on 3D seismic velocities calibrated to well velocity data. 
• You will plan deviated wells and will support related drilling operations. 
• You will build static 3D structural models based on seismic interpretations and well-data. 

Your profile

• You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Geosciences/Applied Geosciences field. 
• You can look back on 10 years’ experience in all aspects of seismic interpretation. 
• You have monimum 5 years’ experience with an operating E&P company as seismic interpreter/structural geologist. 
• You bring strong technical skills and knowledge of the geophysical and geologic side of seismic interpretation. 
• You have an understanding of seismic processing QC and contractor monitoring. 
• Experience in technical coaching of junior staff and Leadership experience considered an advantage
